Relevance Studio wins the contract to rebuild Québec emploi for the ministère de l’Emploi et de la Solidarité sociale

A five-year mandate with two option years, confirming Relevance Studio's place among Canada's leading providers of recruitment portals and applicant tracking systems (ATS).

Montréal, 17 June 2026. Relevance Studio today announced it has won the contract to completely rebuild Québec emploi, the online job-placement platform of Québec's ministère de l'Emploi et de la Solidarité sociale. Running five years with two option years, the mandate is among the most significant ever awarded to the company and cements its place among Canada's leaders in recruitment portals and applicant tracking systems.

The ministère de l'Emploi et de la Solidarité sociale works to support employment and to help people and organisations with workforce matters. Its online job-placement platform is one of the province's principal employment hubs, connecting thousands of job seekers and employers every year.

Under the mandate, Relevance Studio will rebuild the candidate and employer experience, modernise the interfaces, and migrate, host and make use of the platform's operational data. The project includes advanced search, a native mobile experience, and an architecture built for performance, security and long-term data retention.

Recognition for Québec expertise

“Winning this contract with the ministère de l'Emploi et de la Solidarité sociale is a source of enormous pride for our whole team. Québec's online job placement touches job seekers' lives and the province's economy directly. We have been entrusted with an essential public service over a seven-year horizon, and we fully intend to make it one of the best recruitment platforms in the country.”
Steve Racine, Chief Executive Officer, Relevance Studio

“Since we started, we have believed recruitment deserves the same rigour as sales or marketing. This mandate proves it at scale,” Mr. Racine added. “It validates our approach: modern technology, a carefully built candidate experience and intelligent integration, without asking organisations to rebuild everything.”

Relevance Studio among Canada's leaders

The announcement reinforces a sustained growth trajectory. Relevance Studio's applicant tracking solution is used by more than 500 companies, and its clients include leading organisations such as Cirque du Soleil, Desjardins, Metro, Vidéotron, La Vie en Rose, Jean Coutu and Banque Laurentienne, along with several school service centres.

By combining an enriched career portal, a modern mobile applicant tracking system and recognised expertise in recruitment content, Relevance Studio positions itself as a strategic talent-acquisition partner rather than a technology vendor. The Québec emploi contract confirms that ambition: to become the reference for career sections and job-placement platforms, in Québec and across Canada.
